Drawing digitally carries over naturally, from my work as an architect.  The art of line becomes a different phenomenon, taking on an elastic quality, getting pulled, stretched or twisted as work develops.  I often begin with an under-drawing as a base, then explore the layering of lines and textures as the piece is slowly built up over time.
