Sculpture

Many of these pieces begin in drawing form, while others are created intuitively.  The compositions develop at the intersection of their internal structure and their shifting form/shape. They explore my interest in thin materials and crevices and how light brings them to life as well as exploring how they rest or engage the ground.  I am interested in subdued expressions of material and color, tailored to emphasize their geometry, form and the play of light and shadow.
